One of the best multi purpose machines
I needed a printer to replace a Xerox Phaser 6110 Colour Laser printer and also a scanner to scan old photos. After much deliberation between this and the Kodak, I opted for this machine and I am glad I did.
Canon MP610 - Brilliant!
Mine arrived yesterday and was a doddle to set up. I installed it with no problems on my laptop with XP Pro - piece of cake. Photo prints are unbelievable

The printer uses FINE technology, producing a drop size of just 1 pl for photos with 9600 dpi definition. Meanwhile, scanned images appear in 4800 dpi.
